Stand-in truck March 1st 2005 BT’s TSE300 is a stand-in truck for towing and order picking duties that demand intensive work with loads of up to 3t.
A steering system called E-man forms a key interface between operator and truck and provides fast, efficient operation with advanced safety features. A mini tiller arm offers power-assisted steering that can be operated safely with one hand. BT says the operator’s hand never needs to be outside the profile of the truck as a 60° movement in the tiller arm gives 100° of lock on the steering.
The control unit can, at the flick of a switch, be moved towards the right or left hand side of the truck.
A platform switch limits speed and steering angle when the operator is not in the driver compartment. More articles from Toyota Material Handling (UK) Ltd: |
