TRUCK REVAMP
November 1st 2003

Samuk Lift Trucks has introduced an improved version of its 4, 4.5 and 5t at 500mm load centre capacity Clark/Samuk models. In addition to new styling similar to the companys GEN2 machines, the new trucks incorporate various technical revisions designed to improve overall safety, reliability and serviceability. Laden stability and tip factor has been increased by a combination of additional weight and a lower centre of gravity, and the minimum safety factor across the range is now 150%. The trucks transmission runs cooler due to increased oil flow in the torque converter. This makes it suitable for the most arduous applications, regardless of ambient temperatures. The switch to a larger Bosch high performance starter motor has been made to improve cold starting and to double life expectancy under normal conditions.
