Boxmaking in-house
September 19th 2004

A new in-house boxmaking system from Autobox is said to provide major savings on box and packaging costs and reduces the need for storage space

Comprising the Slitter SC124, to cut sheets of corrugated board to size, and the versatile Boxmaker 1065, the new system includes a TEC3200 hot-melt glue gun to close the newly made boxes

No previous knowledge of boxmaking is required as it takes only a few minutes for an operator to become proficient and able to manufacture correctly sized corrugated cases. It takes just seconds to change between more than 40 different box styles and sizes. An on-board electronic memory stores the more popular sizes or packs.
