Calor to sponsor 2009 FLTA safety conference
May 1st 2009 Calor has joined forces with the Fork
Lift Truck Association to sponsor
this year's Safety Conference. The
event will be staged at Warwick
University on 30th September 2009.
Now in its seventh year, the
conference addresses the issues and
problems which directly impact upon
users of fork lift trucks. An expert
line-up of speakers will offer attendees
the practical guidance they want and
more importantly need.
This year's theme is Understanding
and Communicating the Risks and
includes a packed programme of
presentations that will show what the
fork lift industry is doing and what
individuals can do to highlight
potential health and safety risks in the
workplace.
FLTA Chief Executive, David
Ellison, says "The Safety Conference
presents an invaluable opportunity to
hear about the current research and
the latest products available to
enhance British workspaces. This
year, for example, we have a speaker
from the HSE who will reveal
outcomes from recent research into
causes of investigated fork lift truck
