Pickers picked
September 1st 2004 Aston Martin has installed a pair of Atlet OPS man rising order pickers to maximise the use of space and improve picking efficiency at its parts operation in Milton Keynes.
The new pickers are used alongside existing Atlet trucks to provide flexibility in the warehouse, to pick parts ranging from body panels to nuts and bolts.
Two Atlet OPS man rising order pickers, capable of picking to 9.1m are used for medium and large sized item picking, while a reach truck is used for put-away tasks.
With the Atlet OPS, the operator rises with the forks and load to the picking locations, so all storage locations can be used for picking.
The cab provides clear and unobstructed access to the picking face on either side of the aisle. More articles from Atlet Limited: |
