Bespoke system

Demonstrating its ability to supply bespoke packaging systems, Matco, (represented in the UK by Jemac Packaging), has supplied Alcan Packaging with a compact auto-pallet wrapper solution.

The company had three types of palletised load which required securing to varying degrees. The first was a boxed product on a pallet that simply needed to be wrapped. The second was a sheet material on a pallet that needed strapping and wrapping. The final load involved rolls of aluminium that needed taking off the pallet and wrapping with film.

The system provided met all criteria and copes with the specified throughput of 15 pallets per hour. Features include pallet lift, wagon transfer and SLC turntable pallet wrap machine.
