Packing for pots
July 1st 2007 SCA Packaging's industrial
division has developed for one of
its customers a pack that houses
and protects paint pots and lids
during manufacture and
distribution.
Offering an alternative to metal
stillages for internal storage and
movement, the company says its
corrugated version has significantly
reduced product damage and
scrap levels and provides
customer benefits throughout the
supply chain.
The heavy duty packs are said
to be a cost-effective, single-trip
solution to the issue of lost stillages
and to have reduced the overall
amount of product used, reducing
environmental impact and giving
the customer a lighter weight
