Plants arrive damage-free
January 1st 2006 Posting delicate plants of all shapes and sizes safely and without damage posed a problem for Cumbria-based Larch Cottage Nurseries.
The dilemma was solved using cushion void fill specialist Easypack's Easyair Cassette system.
Large tubular air pillows of any length can be produced on demand, with softness controlled by the packer.
Lynn Newton, mail order co-ordinator, says "Our customers are now commenting on how well packed their plants are and on their good condition.
