Repeat order September 1st 2005 The reliability of a second-hand Mosca strapping unit at corrugated packaging specialist Beacon Hi- Speed has resulted in the company buying a new Mosca machine for its Hampshire factory.
Chris Wilson, production manager, explains "We already used a Mosca strapping unit, purchased second-hand, that has proved ideal for our requirements and, on the rare occasions we required support from Mosca, the service was impeccable."
The new machine is a KCA 128 pallet strapper with a maximum speed of 120 pallets per hour.
As space was at a premium, Beacon was unable to use a conveying system to transport pallets to the strapper. Instead, Mosca installed the machine with an integrated turntable and scissor lift. More articles from Mosca Direct Ltd: |
