Speedy strapping September 1st 2008 The installation of 114 specialist
strapping machines from Mosca,
the biggest individual order in the
company's history, is providing
News International with fast, highquality
strapping of newspapers at
three custom-built publishing
houses.
The Mosca machines were
ordered by Ferag in 2006, as part
of a deal to supply News
International with state-of-the-art
printing equipment at sites in
London-Broxbourne, Glasgow and
Knowsley, and installed in 2007.
Mosca was chosen for the
reliability, speed of throughput and
ease of maintenance of its
strapping machines, confirmed
over an extensive three-month trial.
Mosca says an additional benefit is
provided by the all-electric
strapping technology, which
reduce operating costs of the
machines through the elimination
of compressed air and its related
maintenance requirements. More articles from Mosca Direct Ltd: |
