Boots has bought a fleet of ArcaCOMBO reusable plastic IBCs from Schoeller Arca Systems to transport bulk quantities of products, such as oils and creams, around its production factory in Nottingham.

The collapsible boxes fold to about one third of their normal size when empty.

They are of a robust and shock resistant design and feature a disposable liner bag that is placed inside the box and filled with liquid.

Boots chose the container to significantly reduce labour and service costs.

Any peaks in demand are met by renting additional containers, at competitive rates, from Arlington Packaging, one of Schoeller Arca System’s pooling partners.
