JUST-IN-TIME BOX MAKING SOLUTION
March 1st 2004 V-Solution GmbH of Reichenbach, Germany, has taken delivery of a new HIPAK 2665AF box maker from Autobox to take advantage of the growing market for short runs of corrugated cases and just-in-time delivery.
In a matter of seconds the machine can be set up or changed between box size and style, making it appropriate for shorter runs and for customers who require instant delivery.
It has a BoardMarker in-line marking device for batch coding, while an AutoFeeder allows the operator to progress other work while the Boxmaker carries on manufacturing correct size corrugated cases. An SC124 slitter/creaser was also supplied to provide extra versatility when shorter runs of blanks are required.
