LGV integration
January 1st 2009 Elettric 80 has installed five Laser
Guided Vehicles (LGVs) at H. J.
Heinz Company of Canada's facility
in Leamington, Ontario. The site is
the most sku-intensive Heinz factory
globally. Elettric 80's LGV solution
integrates seamlessly with existing
end-of-line technology to lower
handling costs without
compromising operation flexibility.
The LGVs, each with a two pallet
capacity, transport finished goods
from various conveyors to four
staging areas and handle pallets of
