LOADING AND UNLOADING DUTY

Nissan trucks supplied by Carrylift are used to load and unload pallets at warehousing and distribution specialist S Cooper & Sons.

Recent additions to the fleet include three Nissan DO1 15 LPG and one Nissan DO1 18 diesel forklifts.

The Nissan D series of engine powered counterbalanced forklifts, with lift capacities from 1.5 to 3t, have proved reliable in service. Fast travel and lift speeds combine with safety features to ensure a high level of productivity.

A further attraction of the Carrylift deal was the supply of the Nissan Tri-Cat system fitted to the DO1 LPG powered trucks.

Handling pallets of dry food destined for supermarkets demands soot-free exhaust emissions to avoid unsightly deposits on the product.

The Tri-Cat system is believed to be the only three-way catalytic converter to reduce all three toxic substances when LPG is burnt.
