Street CraneXpress (SCX) has won a Total Maintenance Outsourcing contract with Mitie Engineering Maintenance for the Rolls-Royce aero engine plants in Derby and Hucknall

Mitie Engineering conducts all plant and building maintenance at the sites, including maintenance on more than 5000 cranes, hoists and related equipment. With the LOLER regulations and increasing awareness of health, safety and equipment maintenance issues, Mitie turned to SCX for the specialist skills it needed to keep equipment at peak performance

Following a three month trial, Mitie opted for the full TMO service as the most cost effective solution, awarding SCX a contract to provide an engineer on site at Rolls-Royce in Derby and Hucknall.
