SCA Packaging's Industrial Division has added new products to its range of packaging designs for the retail sector; a world wide distribution pack and a bulk box for the removal of waste packaging from back of store operations.

Martyn Reader, market manager, commenting on the new distribution pack, says "Responding to the requirements of a major retailer to distribute goods worldwide from their regional distribution centres to individual retail outlets, SCA designed a bulk distribution shipper to fit on to a standard 1200 x 1000 pallet.

"This fully die cut case requires no stitching or glueing, and incorporates saloon doors in the front face to facilitate loading and unloading of product.

The pack holds up to 600kg of product is rackable and can be stacked two high in storage or transit." Bulk packaging also provided a solution to the retail sector's issue with collection and disposal of packaging waste.

Martyn Reader says "SCA's solution was a simple, but versatile bulk box. Quick and easy to assemble, this case is used to collect mixed packaging waste which is transported offsite for disposal."
