Plastic pallets from Craemer are providing a clean, safe solution for Klockner- Pentaplast, a company that supplies films to a credit card manufacturer.

Production of chip-cards requires meticulous handling and conveying and experience had shown that if wood fibres got into the manufacturing process, problems such as distortion could occur.

To minimise the potential for faults, the company opted for plastic pallets and, in turn, expected external suppliers such as Klockner-Pentaplast to use the same for deliveries.

Craemer’s plastic pallets CR1 (1200 by 800mm) and CR3 (1200 by 1000mm) both have high load bearing capacity and can be used for universal purposes.

Pallets used in the Klockner-Pentaplast factory have to carry heavy loads and support weights of up to 1100kg.

The company has been using the robust pallets for a number of years and reports that the number of misplaced or damaged pallets has been very low.
