Aisle racking

Pallet racking and long span shelving from Hi-Lo Storage Systems has been used to equip PTS Plumbing Trade Supplies' new distribution centre in Birmingham.

Undertaken as a partnership with its distributor, Angleton, Hi- Lo's FEM-compliant Premierack standard aisle racking and Shelfplan, long span shelving has provided PTS with a state-of-the-art storage system that provides 6000 pallet positions.

Carefully designed by Angleton to make maximum use of the the headroom, the beams of the 12m high Premierack have been covered with open timber shelves so that a range of products can be stored. Hi-Lo's Shelfplan long span shelving provides further storage for smaller parts.

Uprights on the Premierack come in a variety of gauges, have a 50mm slot pitch and can be reversed should damage occur.
