Cuts rack damage
March 1st 2007 The Rack Group says field tests have shown that its Rack Armour racking protection can reduce upright damage by up to 80%. The clip-on protector exceeds impact specifications for both SEMA (Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association and FEM (Federation Européene de la Manutention). Rack Armour is made from tough and resilient ballistics-grade polymer and comes in a variety of colours, although the high visibility yellow version is the colour most commonly sold as it highlights the position of each individual front upright to the forklift truck driver, thereby helping to reduce accidental impacts. The company says that the high visibility of the red and green guards means they can be used to show fire escape routes or the location of fire fighting equipment, as well as being a useful aid to assist with on-site traffic management systems.
