Efficiency boosted

An additional 7000 pallet locations have been created at Holland & Barretts main storage and distribution centre in Burton-on-Trent with the installation of a Hi-Lo Premierack storage system.

Undertaken as a joint partnership between Hi-Low Storage Systems and its distributor, JK Systems, the narrow aisle racking was chosen by Holland & Barrett to maximise storage density and efficiency while providing 100% accessibility to individual pallets.

To cater for both picking and live storage, Hi-Lo suggested a Premierack system comprising eight levels of racking made up of 9250mm high by 900mm deep frames with 2700mm long, 2000kg capacity beam.

The FEM-compliant system includes uprights that can be reversed in the event of damage and are available in various gauges.
