July 1st 2004 New two-tier storage systems from SSI Schaefer are providing C&V Data Management Services with the means to store in excess of 70 000 boxes and 250 000 open files at its new records management and document storage facility in Lutterworth.

Nevertheless, as each file or document is tagged with a computer security number that can only be accessed by authorised personnel on our secure computer system, retrieval of any item can take a matter of minutes, if not seconds.
Handling thousands of record movements per month, as well as providing users with full traceability of items stored, the Lutterworth facility is also equipped with advanced security intruder devices and an intelligent fire detection system linked to police and fire services.
