A new warehouse for Eden Industries in Glasgow is equipped with Link 51’s pallet racking

The company’s XL racking is installed in an L-shaped format. It comprises a total of some 13 backto- back runs, each with 11 bays

Bay widths of 2.3m have been specified, with the exception of a run of eighteen 3m bays installed along one wall to house longer items. Here, a 4.4m wide aisle is available for forklift truck manoeuvring. Throughout the rest of the site, aisle widths are 3.6m

Each aisle provides four storage levels, with a capacity throughput of the equivalent of 1t per pallet

Some 2500 pallet positions are available which, with the top beam at 4.8m takes advantage of the 6m roof height of the building.
