January 1st 2007 Formulated in line with the EU Landfill Directive, Darcy Products says BioCat provides a quick safe and environmentally friendly means of dealing with small industrial spills of oil, petrol, Diesel, lubricants, hydraulic fluids etc., in workshops, production lines, parking areas, loading points, storage areas etc. It's equally effective with most paints, resins and many other fluids commonly used in industry. Its ability to biodegrade makes the treatment prior to landfill easier and quicker - and in some cases eliminates it altogether. BioCat is effective on both porous and non-porous surfaces. Used on concrete, BioCat leaves a residuefree surface as well as instantly suppressing noxious or hazardous vapours. On porous surfaces it prevents or limits penetration, is harmless to plant life and limits risk of ground water contamination. Lightweight and capable of absorbing up to ten times its own weight in contaminants, BioCat is available in various volumes or can be incorporated into the Darcy's range emergency spill kits.
