Preventing drain pollution

Designed for emergency sealing of pipes and drains, the portable Envirovalve introduced by Darcy Products provides a simple, easilydeployed method of preventing spilled or leaking pollutant from flowing into the drainage system.

By using a lance and inflatable bladder, sealing can be carried out rapidly even in deep manholes, without the need for confined space equipment.

Developed in conjunction with the emergency services and the Environment Agency, the unit consists of an easily assembled lance and lance holder with quick release coupling, inflatable bladder with grip suitable for sealing all pipes from 100 to 375mm diameter, and a high pressure pump for rapid inflation. A retaining rope is provided for bladder recovery.
