September 1st 2007 Flowstore Sytems is supplying
equipment for Toyota's European
Global Production Centre in
Derbyshire, where the manufacturer
trains employees for its car plants.
FlowTube enables numerous
types of equipment to be made
from its components, which
include plastic-coated steel tubes,
modular connecting joints, roller
tracks and accessories.
Already used in the main Toyota
Manufacturing UK plant in support
of its Kaizen programme, FlowTube
fulfiled the training centre's needs
for a variety of assemblies, from
simple trolleys and flowracks to
handgrip and dexterity units, notice
stands and signboards. Toyota
holds FlowTube components on
site to enable it to modify units
