Linpac Storage Systems has completed a very narrow aisle storage solution in a remarkably fast turnaround time for internet retailer, Firebox.com - taking just three weeks from placement of order to becoming operational.

Firebox.com is a multichannel gadget, games and gifts retailer. The new VNA racking solution includes 1.7m aisles enabling Firebox.com to squeeze maximum capacity out of the main warehouse - used for both storage and picking. There is also an adjacent, smaller warehouse on site used for packing and dispatching goods to customers. Timber decking has been installed throughout the racking to increase its versatility - up to three pallets are stored in each of the 3.3m wide bays.

LINPAC has also erected a security cage at the back of the warehouse to secure the most valuable items.
