Protection for tanks

tanks and their contents need
protection from adverse weather,
condensation and moisture that
can result in corrosion problems,
leaks and, ultimately, tank failure.
The Sealatank system from
Belzona Polymerics encapsulates
the circumference of the tank base,
while allowing any residual
moisture under the tank to
permeate through the material's
microporous structure.
The system is weatherproof,
flexible and uv-resistant. It is also
durable and tough which,
combined with high adhesion
properties, ensures long service.

survey through to execution of the
Sealatank application.
The product has recently been
applied to five 7m diameter aviation
fuel tanks for an oil and gas
company. On three of the tanks the
asphalt berm was breaking up.
Once the contractor had stabilised
the berm using hot bitumen, the
Sealatank solution was applied to
