Shelving is fitted under racking at Bosch September 1st 2006 Bays of Regal 3000 shelving from SSI Schaefer have been installed at the Robert Bosch plant in Denham, Buckinghamshire, under existing bays of pallet racking.
The plant houses the majority of sales and distribution activity in the UK. It was in this plant the Bosch required a company to design and install a modular shelving structure that would meet the tight dimensions required to construct within the available space.
Completed in less than a month, SSI Schaefer installed Regal 3000 uprights which allowed the units to be a suitable height and used 1282mm wide bays instead of 995mm, which complemented the space available.
James Skilling oversaw the operation and says "Optimising time and space is key to efficient store management which is why we used Regal 3000 shelving within Bosch's distribution plant.
"We adapted the design of our full height shelf dividers to meet the specific requirements. Schaefer shelving provides complete, flexible, single or multi-tier systems of the highest quality for diverse applications." More articles from SSI Schaefer Ltd: |
