Shredder cuts costs

GGB specialises in the sale and distribution of Italian and Malaysian car parts and uses an Easyfill cardboard box shredder from Easypack to generate its packing material.

Cardboard is converted by the machine into a strong, pliable mat that is used for packing a wide variety of parts. The material has the flexibility to protect not only heavy, bulk items, but more delicate parts that can all be packed together in one outer.

The mat is also used to protect sharp corners on metal parts, including pipe ends on exhaust systems and silencers.

The machine is quiet and easy-to-clean, and as the company no longer has to store packaging material, it saves money by reducing its spend on materials and also by avoiding the cost of disposing of surplus cardboard.
