Check scale
January 1st 2007 Mettler Toledo Industrial Division has provided West Bromwich Tool & Engineering Co, with a check scale that ensures only precise product types and quantities are loaded into boxes for distribution. Based around the company's KA32s (32kg x 0.1g stainless steel) check scales, the system has a programmable display (where products to be filled are listed, along with target weight), a barcode-label printer and an Ethernet interface to enable the uploading of data. Operating within a 0.5g max tolerance, the static checkweighing equipment has provided a failsafe solution for the automotive components manufacturer.
