Cost effective weighing
January 1st 2007 Weighing in hazardous areas is often associated with costintensive, specially developed equipment and complicated accessories. The ATEX approval granted to the new Sartorius EC1XS series of stainless steel scales solves this by providing a cost efficient solution to many weighing applications. The ATEX approval permits use in zones 1 and 2 (gas) in gas group IIB and temperature class T4, as well as in zone 21 and 22 (dust) for dusts with an ignition temperature greater than 155°C. The new EC1XS scale from Sartorius has a weighing capacity range from 3 kg to 3 t with a resolution of 15,000 digits and an optional RS-422 data output. More articles from Sartorius Limited: |
