Expansion for weighing firm
March 1st 2008 Applied Weighing, provider of a
wide range of weighing solutions
and systems, is extending its
factory in Reading as part of an
overall expansion strategy.
The new extension is next door
to its head office and manufacturing
site and will encompass the
company's ongoing
environmentally-friendly approach.
'Green' manufacturing techniques
will be used wherever practical.
The factory will extend production
facilities to double existing capacity.
Applied Weighing provides
custom-built weighing solutions
and systems. These include
platform scales, silo and vessel
weighing systems, drum filling
systems, high speed weighing
systems, telemetry systems and
load cells.
Products are used in a diverse
variety of industry areas, including
pharmaceutical, food processing,
milling and bakeries, aggregates
and cement, fuel oils, chemicals
