Hydraulic weighing system
September 1st 2004

Marsden Weighing Group says stationary floor scales are being replaced with mobile weighing systems installed directly to the lifting units.

This saves time both in double handling and internal/logistic transport time, since the weighing is done when transporting the load.

The TC2000 weighing system has a weighing accuracy of 0.25%.

Its measuring technique is based upon dynamic weighing that makes it possible to take the friction of the moving parts of the lifting unit into account.

The system can be applied for all machines using hydraulic lifting, such as forklifts, stackers, wheel loaders, loader tractors, tail-boards on trucks and so on.

The TC2000 cannot be overloaded and there are no sensitive load cells in the forks.

Also, all sensitive cabling to forks, masts or lifting arms is avoided.

The unit also enables wireless data transfer by ‘bluetooth’ to a PC, mobile phone or handheld PDA.
