January 1st 2007 Titan 95 load cells from Applied Weighing have been used in a pre-weigh hopper system that has enabled a manufacturer of tile adhesives to improve output to meet demand. Used for the batch weighing of raw materials, the load cells were supplied to Stoke-on- Trent-based Building adhesives. Designed for smaller silo, vessel and tank weighing applications, the Titan 95 range of loading assemblies incorporates a fully welded stainless steel (or tool steel) load cell with a capacity from 2000 to 10 000kg. Suitable for applications requiring high accuracy and where movement or vibration is likely to be present, the loading assembly will accept considerable movement or misalignment and incorporates liftoff prevention without applying reverse load to the cell.
