Robust tension load cell
July 1st 2006

The RCSBC3 tension load cell from HBM is a robust, hermeticallyencapsulated S-type load cell made from stainless steel that measures loads from 500kg to 5t. It is suitable for a wide range of hybrid, overhead track and conveyor scale applications.

Tension load cells are well suited to process applications where the product needing measurement is contained in large tanks or is being transported on conveyor belts. In such cases, the most suitable method is often to suspend the weighing tank or conveyor belt by tension load cells.

The RSCBC3 satisfies OIML test requirements for up to 3000d. It can be used in Zone 1, 2 (gas) and 21, 22 (dust) areas.
