A compact, portable breathing air system from ultrafilter provides a cost effective and convenient solution for the purification and supply of breathing air. Suitable for use on centrally purified compressed air systems where no carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide are present, the ultrapure ALG20 has a volume flow rate of 60m3/h (90m3/h max) and can provide breathing air for up to four people. For the removal of particles, oils and odours, the system achieves Class 1 air quality. Easy to handle, it is the size of a briefcase, weighs 6.5kg and has a sturdy, ergonomically designed housing. It simply plugs into a suitable compressed air line. The system includes a high efficiency sub-micro filter, that filters the smallest particles up to 0.01m with an efficiency of 99.9999%, in addition to removing water and oil aerosols up to a residual oil content of <0.01mg/Nm3.
