Extraction unit deals quietly with dust problem November 1st 2005 Amanufacturer of refrigerated retail display cases, CRE, has installed a Carter- Thorne Nonflam W120 wet dust extraction unit at its Birmingham production facility.
The unit copes with dust created in deburring prime matt galvanised steel components.
Nonflam extractors use a water- filled tank through which dust and residues are drawn by an impeller fan. Particles sink to to base of the collection tank, where they may be removed easily by raking into a container. Automatic sludge removal systems are also available.
The water level in the unit is automatically controlled.
Units come in many sizes and with a range of fans precisely rated for individual applications - up to 7.5kW - for removal; of sticky or oily dust from the metal being printed.
Units are sound-silenced to 81- 83dBA (78dBA if required). More articles from Carter Environmental Engrs Ltd: |
