Filters for power station July 1st 2007 A recent installation by Dust
Extraction for a UK power station
involved the use of Dust X CV
pulse jet tubular bagged filter units.
Two model CV 10 x 19 3XL filters
were needed and each unit was
fitted with two 22kW integral fan
sets. The filter units form part of a
centralised dust control system
with a total air extraction rate of 64
600m3/h which serves the Biomass
loading facility, extracting dusts
generated from loading materials
by a 3m3 Komatsu bucket loader
onto conveyors via hopper loaders.
Purpose-designed tipping hoods
eliminate mass migration of
airbourne dust during the tipping
process, allowing effective dust
control of the two hopper loaders
and at various points along the two
product feed conveyors. Clean air
discharges from filter units are
policed by two emissions monitors
that check emissions levels. More articles from Dust Extraction Ltd: |
