Multi-gas detector
September 1st 2007 Available from Crowcon, the Triple
Plus+ portable gas detector now
includes additional features to
increase its versatility.
The device, which can monitor
up to four toxic and flammable
gases at once from a list of more
than 15, is said to be almost
unbreakable and, for reliability,
uses the larger 7-series sensors.
The unit's carbon dioxide accuracy
has been significantly improved
and it now has a 0-1ppm arsine
sensor, allowing it to be used to
detect the dopant gas in
semiconductor manufacturing.
The detector has also been
made compatible with Crowcon's
CheckBox calibration station,
making calibration and bump
testing easy. In addition, the Triple
Plus+ IR version is now compatible
with ISO 61779 LEL (lower
explosive limit) concentrations.
A large backlit display shows all
gas levels and audible and visual
alarms warn the operator when
