Nederman combats flour dust March 1st 2005 Traditional methods of production at Arthur Chatwins’ bakery in Nantwich involve the hand dusting of pastry and doughs and used to result in high levels of airborne dust.
Facemasks were used to protect employees from flour particles.
However these proved unpopular, especially in summer, and an alternative was sought.
The problem has been solved with the installation of three Nederman Filterboxes that use self-management control systems and automatic filter cleaning with compressed air.
Each Filterbox also has an NEX DX arm that has an earthed antistatic hose.
An annual maintenance contract ensures that extraction equipment is operating at optimum levels.
A new catalogue and CD of literature are available. More articles from Nederman Limited: |
