Photo service March 1st 2005 It is now a legal requirement to carry out Fit Testing of all wearers of tight fitting facemasks. The HSE also requires mask wearers to be re-tested if their face shape changes significantly, such as through weight change or scarring.
To help companies decide whether retesting is required, RPFI offers a service called Wearer Fit Imaging. A photograph is taken of the wearer at the time of testing and stored with their Fit Test Certificate. It is then used as a reference during an annual review to identify if the wearer’s face shape has changed making retesting necessary. More articles from RPFI: |
