Photo service
March 1st 2005

It is now a legal requirement to carry out Fit Testing of all wearers of tight fitting facemasks. The HSE also requires mask wearers to be re-tested if their face shape changes significantly, such as through weight change or scarring.

To help companies decide whether retesting is required, RPFI offers a service called Wearer Fit Imaging. A photograph is taken of the wearer at the time of testing and stored with their Fit Test Certificate. It is then used as a reference during an annual review to identify if the wearer’s face shape has changed making retesting necessary.
