Quick-release
September 1st 2010 Helmet Integrated Systems (HISL)
has launched a quick-release
headband for its respiratory units.
The new component will be fitted as
standard on all new Pureflo ESM
powered air purifying respirators and
Pureflo ABS Air Fed units as well as
their PureWeld derivatives. It is also
available as a retrofit upgrade kit.
The headband can be removed
rapidly from the unit in one piece,
without tools or complex procedures,
allowing easy maintenance and
cleaning. A fore and aft adjustment
can be made in seconds, to shift the
centre of gravity to suit different
