Tiny addition
July 1st 2007

Crowcon has introduced two new versions of the Eikon, its tiny, disposable, single gas detector.

There are new versions to detect ammonia and chlorine and these are guaranteed to operate without the need for parts or maintenance for two years. No specialist training is required.

Measuring less than 70mm long, the intrinsically safe personal monitor runs continuously once it is activated by the user removing an activation strip. It warns of gas hazards with a 94dBA alarm and four LEDs, visible from all angles.

The Eikon range now detects five hazardous gases, including hydrogen sulphide, oxygen and carbon monoxide.
