Centrica Energy has specified Pulsafe safety spectacles from Bacou-Dalloz for its staff and the latest introduction - the XC prescription spectacle has proved successful during a pilot trial.

Brian Helliwell, HS&E adviser for Centrica Energy, comments "We have some staff who request replacement spectacles more frequently than the norm because of scratched prescription lenses.

The Pulsafe XC will enable us to reduce this cost, since the outer lens can be replaced without having to change or replace the more expensive prescription lens behind this."

The lightweight XC frame is fully adjustable, giving an almost tailormade fit for all-day comfort.
