GREASELESS BARRIER
July 1st 2004 Introduced to the UK by The Skin Protection Company, Chimal Skin Shield is a non-toxic, greaseless and odourless barrier cream that is designed to moisturise the skin while protecting it from irritants.
Introduced originally for the medical industry, Chimal Skin Shield is now available for many everyday uses. It is said to provide long lasting protection from detergents, solvents, cleaners, paints and thinners, gardening chemicals, dirt and grease, latex gloves, powder and so on.
Virtually invisible, it cannot be immediately washed off by water and will retain its protection through multiple hand washings. The cream forms a bond or screen with the bodys outer layer of dead skin cells, helping to reduce the loss of natural oil and moisture and will eventually dissolve by natural skin exfoliation.
