Keyboard designed to minimise stress March 1st 2009 Jessica Abrahams works in admin at
Lancaster University using a Maltron
ergonomically designed keyboard and
uses another at her home. She
explains why.
"About 1993, a
friend who had
been diagnosed
with RSI
recommended
the Maltron
keyboard and I was interested in the
issue. Frightened by the thought of
potential RSI, I went to see the
keyboard at an exhibition.
"It took me about three months to
become completely used to the shape
of the Maltron keyboard – and once I
had done that I never looked back. I
found that it made my work much
more comfortable
and my typing
became noticeably
faster and more
accurate."
