HAVS inserts
November 1st 2006 Available from Scafftag, Microtag helps companies to manage the risk of Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome by making important information available on the status of equipment at the point of use. Focusing on the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations, Scafftag has introduced two new Microtag HAVS inserts – MTI 405 and MTI 451. These will replace the MTI 333 and MTI 335. MTI405 indicates noise and vibration levels and MTI 451 incorporates the new points per hour system that helps users keep track of exposure accumulated over the entire day (especially important when using a variety of tools and equipment).
