The potential safety risks an maintenance of forklifts are often overlooked - despite workplace transport being the second biggest cause of fatal occupational accidents.

Scafftag's Forkliftag instantly visually identifies the status of a forklift and instills a pre-shift operator inspection. The Black Book outlines legal requirements and provides a system for conducting inspections and recording information.

One advocate of the system is healthcare giant, Smith and Nephew, which uses Forkliftag at its Hull plant. Dave Carrick, health and safety and transport coordinator, says "By ensuring operators are aware of checking the truck before use, this system makes them more aware of their load, plus the hazards around them."
