Aerated showers give effective cleaning
November 1st 2004

Available from Walter Page (Safeways) is a brochure detailing the Speakman range of emergency body showers and eye and face wash systems.

Showers have an impeller action shower head that causes water to swirl around the body, an action that the company says not only softens the impact of the water, but provides a much larger area of coverage than standard spray showers to provide more effective cleansing.

An aerated system is used by the eye and eye/face wash units.

Water clings to the surface being flushed, important when contoured features such as the eyes, nose, chin and cheeks need to be rinsed.

Aerated water does not strike and bounce off. Millions of microscopic bubbles continuously implode causing harmful solids and liquids to be lifted safely away from the area of contamination.
