Moldex is offering free samples of its blue food mask to anyone in the food and drink industry who needs protection from dust, mists and fumes. The mask conforms to EN149 and is accepted under the British Retail Consortium Technical Food Standard as it has no metal components. The masks ActivForm feature incorporates a three-dimensional sealing area and a flexible fit around the nose bridge. This is said to significantly reduce the possibility of inward leakage of dusts and contaminants by automatically adjusting to different face shapes. The company says that unlike other traditional masks that rely on the user press-to-fit technique, the Moldex Blue Food mask fits upon contact and does not need further adjustment.
